So carrying on with my Indigo Elements Quilt, the white textured blender and the navy and blues in the patterned cotton fabrics have worked really well together, and are now my favourite sewing companions!

I made the blocks as I showed you last time with the Pre cut strips to save time, then added the white textured blender in strips of the same width. I also used it for the setting and corner triangles, and the middle square which I might quilt by hand.
As this pattern emerged it was obvious that it need to be set out on point to show the designs in each fabric off. It looks so much better than in rows, I must say though that it has grown considerably as what started out for a shop display has turned into a double bed size and thats without any borders.
Dont stop at making quilts with these gorgeous designs, heres a shirt that Milly one of our younger customers made for her Mum.
I think Milly is a definate contender for The Great British Sewing Bee!
